Nathan Berube co-founded BLSE in 2002. He serves as one of the principal engineers and Structural Engineer of Record for many BLSE projects. Additional responsibilities include company management and engineering production.
Originally from the Northeast, Nate earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, graduating with distinction. He is a registered Professional Engineer in the states of Florida, Alabama, and Mississippi. He is also a licensed threshold inspector in the state of Florida.
Nate worked as a structural engineer for Samuel Johnson, Inc. before co-founding Berube Leonard. His extensive structural design experience includes project work for Sacred Heart Hospital’s ER and OR, Pen Air Federal Credit Union, St. Luke United Methodist Church, the Pensacola Civic Center, the Escambia County Public Safety Building, OWC Learning Resources Center, and Caribe Condominiums.
In addition to qualifications as a structural engineer, Nate manages the technical infrastructure of BLSE overseeing networking, hardware, and software, and implementing new solutions for the company to ensure BSLE engineers are working with the best technology available.
In his spare time, Nate enjoys woodworking, motorcycling, golfing, and spending time with his family. On Sundays, he can be found at church with his wife and four children.
